This grand property epitomizes high end construction, and from the moment you enter the property there you are captivated with the attention to detail. We worked with the client and builder to create custom features within the home and in the entertaining areas. The entrance hall features a 6 metre high curved wall with three of our "Coral" pattern lightboxes each running the entire height. Further through the home the custom made mirror finished stainless steel legs that we designed to hold the 65mm thick maple timber top compliment the chair detail and stick to the polished surfaces throughout. The outdoor entertaining areas within this property are second to none. The tennis court features one of our custom lightbox sets which is an imposing 3.6mt tall, and to keep the game in check the umpire gets to sit atop the custom made umpires chair we designed and built complete with PA system so that...

This grand old home in Kew underwent a complete restoration and a major rear extension along with a landscape redesign, The long narrow pool along the side of the outdoor entertaining and living areas was the perfect spot for feature screening. In response to the clients request, we developed Our COG pattern, which provided an industrial link for this home of grand proportions. The narrow space along the pool was to have planters, however the tight space, meant we had to custom design integrated planters into the screens in order to allow plenty of soil, while still giving access down the side of the pool. Intricately laser cut from 3mm aluminium and then powdercoated in Interpon BASS colour powdercoat - the panels come to life at night when the spot lights and pool illuminate. Elephant
Upon first glance it is not immediately obvious, but as you get closer the image of the elephant appears and it then becomes a piece that you just want to sit and ponder over for a while. An external artwork, come sculpture, that captivates as you come down the long driveway of this property. Custom designed by Wayne Reid, this design of an elephants head is made up of hundreds of textured lines which we laser cut into three seperate panels and then joined to form one large piece at 2.4mt high x 3.6mm wide. Every now and then a project comes along that you constantly keep looking back on and admiring how it all came together. The Blossom by PO Box Designs is one of those projects. Starting off as a concept to conceal an unsightly door on the rear feature wall of this Fitzroy North home, we worked with the client to not only conceal the door but create a phenomenal artwork for the home. AS you walk along the long hallway through the traditional front half of this home, the Blossom stands out as the feature of this ultra modern rear extension. Standing at 3mt tall, the main blossom panel is fixed to the door. One of our custom large letterboxes sits perfectly alongside the driveway of this seaside home. As you walk along the side of the house to private entry door, the custom Corten clad pivot door with rustic old style rivet and strap details welcomes you. At 2.7mt high and 1.4mt wide the entry door is the perfect start to what is a beautifully styled home. Through the entry, we created a privacy branches pattern that was laser cut into etched acrylic sheet and inserted into the sliding door frames as if it were a pane of glass. PO Box Designs had the pleasure of bringing all the steel work to life for this Boutique Garden entry by Inovasis Design in the 2016 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Featuring stand out elements such as the overhead pergola with sliding track and hanging fire pit (the hanging fire pit by Speedmetal Engineering), steel sub floor, and the custom back wall with steel planter "drawers" this garden came together beautifully and was awarded 85 out of a possible 100 points by the show judges. Whilst also gaining great interest from the Better Homes and Gardens team who filmed with the garden on multiple occasions over the 5 day event.
