PO Box Designs are Australia’s largest manufacturer of custom made aluminium and Corten Steel planter boxes for residential and commercial spaces. We work with Australia’s leading architects, landscape architects, designers and contractors to provide tailored planters for any area.
Design, Cutting, Folding, Welding and Finishing is handled in our own production facility with over 1500 planters currently being produced each year. For detailed and custom projects our own specialist team of planter box designers work in 2D and 3D CAD to provide highly detailed shop drawings.

We have completed amazing projects throughout Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane on residential and commercial rooftops. We work closely with our clients to provide custom made planters, pergolas and seating for rooftop spaces which often have very restrictive constraints and parameters. Weight loading is a critical factor and the use of engineered and custom fabricated aluminum items offers many benefits.
Aluminium Planters have a tare weight of only 30kg per m2 (subject to design) and therefore only takes up a minimal amount of the available weight loadings on the slab which are typically around 200kg per m2.
