The right material and finish make a planter look right and last. Here's what we work with and how we choose for your project.
Premium powdercoated aluminium suits most projects — light, naturally corrosion-resistant, low-maintenance and finishable in any colour. Gauge and internal bracing are scaled to size, so even oversize planters stay rigid and true. Benefits of aluminium →
We powdercoat in virtually any colour and sheen — matte, satin or gloss, including textured architectural finishes and Corten-effect looks — and match colours consistently across a whole project (most Dulux and Colorbond matches). Finish samples are available on request.
Corten (weathering steel) gives a warm, rusted patina for ground-level landscape settings. We also work in stainless, brass, copper and timber for bespoke pieces (and steel on request). Aluminium vs Corten →
Our materials and finishes are specified to perform in full sun, coastal salt air and constant moisture from soil and irrigation — with coastal-grade powdercoat options where exposure demands it.
Aluminium is highly recyclable and long-lived — a responsible choice for projects with sustainability targets.
